| Apple HealthKit | To read or write only the nutrition categories you authorize for the health feature you request. |
| Apple CloudKit/iCloud | To store or synchronize app data when the relevant Heard and iCloud features are enabled. HealthKit authorization remains controlled by Apple. |
| Service processors | Only where necessary to operate a requested feature under instructions and protections consistent with this notice. As of the effective date, Heard does not intentionally submit consumer health data through Netlify website forms. |

5. Consent and control
Heard collects or processes consumer health data to provide a feature you request or with consent where required. Apple’s Health authorization screen lets you approve or deny each HealthKit category. You may change Health permissions in iOS Settings or the Health app. You may also stop entering meal, allergen, dietary, or receipt information.
Heard will not collect, use, or share a new category of consumer health data or use it for a materially different purpose without updating this notice and obtaining additional consent where required.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of whether Heard collects or shares your consumer health data, access that data, withdraw consent for future collection or sharing, request deletion, and appeal a denied request. Send requests to heardappsupport@gmail.com or call 548-996-7612. Heard may take reasonable steps to verify your identity.
To appeal a decision, reply to the decision email with “Appeal” in the subject line and explain why you believe it should be reconsidered.
7. Retention
Consumer health data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the feature, maintain your account and chosen history, meet legal obligations, protect security, and resolve disputes. You can request deletion. Health information already written to Apple Health is controlled through Apple Health and may need to be deleted there separately.
8. Security
Heard uses safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of consumer health data. No system can guarantee absolute security. HealthKit permissions, device encryption, and iCloud security are also governed by Apple’s systems and your device settings.
